The R1T Launch Edition was the first R1T model to be manufactured and delivered. It starts at $85,000. The Explore base model trim starts at $67,500.

The Rivian R1T may be expensive, but it has unique capabilities. It’s an electric off-road adventure truck. The electric truck comes standard with an independent air suspension. It can adjust as high as 14.4 inches, making it ideal for off-roading.

The R1T Explore trim comes with heated vegan leather seating and a tuned audio system. The base model has around 260 miles of range with the standard range battery. It makes a whopping 600 horsepower.

The R1T is the quicker, more practical truck. It is more powerful and has about 30 more miles of driving range. The F-150 Lightning Lariat is a great work truck because of its unique capabilities. The R1T is the better buy for drivers that want better performance out of their EV.
