Wrangling a real live bronco is simpler than getting your hands on a new Ford Bronco at this point. The 2021 Ford Bronco made waves throughout the automotive industry as a new and improved version of the historic mid-size SUV galloped through American roads once again. The Bronco was discontinued for over 20 years after being in production for decades. Now, it’s back, and its sales are off to the races.

The 2021 Ford Bronco was quickly sold out and gained an insane resale value as a result. Ford Bronco models have sold on eBay for upwards of $100,000. It’s fair to say that consumers are having a tough time getting behind the wheel of a new Ford Bronco. According to Motor1, the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport (unibody design) will get a price bump at its higher-level trims.

The Ford Bronco Sport uses the Ford Escape SUV chassis, while the Ford Bronco uses the Ford Ranger truck chassis. The Bronco Sport is also less powerful and capable off-road but provides a smoother ride in normal driving conditions. The Bronco Sport isn’t the only Bronco getting pricier either. The 2022 Ford Bronco base model will increase by $800. The two-door Ford Bronco Wildtrak is also getting an $800 price increase.

Other 2022 Ford Bronco two-door models are getting a $400 price increase. Most four-door Ford Bronco models will get a $400 price bump. The Ford Bronco may be more expensive but based on its sales, the newest iteration can sell out just as quickly.

Despite the price increase, if you get the opportunity to purchase a Ford Bronco, you are fortunate. The demand for the Bronco surpasses even what the Blue Oval expected, and they are likely to increase production as a result.

More Broncos will be galloping through roads and highways with increased production, but it’s unlikely that the hype will die down anytime soon. If you get the chance to own a Ford Bronco, this spunky little SUV is definitely worth its retail price.
