The United States Initial Quality Study has been around for 36 years. This year, the survey was sent to about 84,165 people who purchased or leased a new vehicle for the 2022 model year. It includes 223 questions to completely cover their experience. 

The questions are about the exterior styling, interior comfort, quality, seats, cargo space, tech, driver assistance features, safety features, vehicle performance, powertrain options, capabilities, and more. 

Based on every single aspect of the truck, the Chevy Silverado 1500 can’t be beaten. Rivals such as the Ford F-150, Ram 1500, and Toyota Tundra have some catching up to do. 

What’s new for the 2022 Silverado 1500? 

The 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 received a significant refresh, including a restyled front end. It provides a more attractive look with sleeker LED headlights and a bulkier build that offers more confidence.

The updates allow the Silverado to stand out with a unique truck instead of blending into the background. The fog lights on the side of the grille and revised bumper shapes are the most noticeable changes.
