For its customer satisfaction study, Consumer Reports asked car buyers the question: “If you had it to do all over again, would you definitely buy or lease the same model?” As Consumer Reports describes, “vehicles that live up to their promise — and their owners’ expectations — are rated the most satisfying.”

According to Consumer Reports, 97% of customers would buy the 2022 Chevy Corvette Stingray again. This makes the Corvette the most satisfying car by a wide margin. After the 2022 Corvette, the next most satisfying car is the 2022 Mazda MX-5 Miata (89%), followed by the 2022 Kia Telluride (87%), 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E (87%), 2022 Tesla Model Y (87%), and 2022 Toyota RAV4 Prime (86%). Conversely, the least satisfying car is the 2022 Kia Forte (47%).

Why is the 2022 Chevy Corvette such a satisfying car?

As mentioned earlier, Consumer Reports states that cars that live up to their promise, as well as their owners’ expectations, are the most satisfying. A considerable amount of hype surrounds the C8 Corvette, but it mostly lives up to it.
