In comparison, the Acura MDX receives 19 mpg for city driving, and 25 mpg for highway driving, with a combined mpg of 21. The Audi Q7 is slightly taller, but the Acura MDX is somewhat broader.

In contrast, the 2022 Audi Q7 has a 2.0-liter turbo inline-four engine with 248 hp at 5,000 rpm and 273 lb-ft at 1,600 rpm for torque. The two midsize luxury SUVs have an automatic transmission, but the Audi has an 8-speed automatic while the Acura has a 10-speed automatic.

The Acura has a little more horsepower and a perfect safety rating from the NHTSA, while the Audi has yet to receive a rating.
