The 2021 Nissan Sentra Finally Got a Major Feature Drivers Want

The 2021 Nissan Sentra is the first model year to ever obtain a recommendation from Consumer Reports, but it also features a few new technological add-ons that bring it up to par with other modern cars on the market, and give it a leg up over the competition of the same price range.

There are a few reasons that the latest model year Nissan Sentra is better than the last. For one, the 2021 Sentra is the first year to ever receive a recommendation from Consumer Reports. As a part of the current generation, it takes many styling cues and similarities from the 2020 version, with only a few differences that set it apart. From the outside, in fact, you may not notice there is any difference between the two, but the 2021 Nissan Sentra finally got an important feature that most other cars have already adopted.

How much does the 2021 Nissan Sentra cost?

The 2021 Nissan Sentra is still one of the most affordable new cars on the market, as it has been in previous years. Its modest price point offers buyers a reliable and simple sedan that offers only what you’re looking for and not much more. The base model price starts at around $20,875, but if you wanted to upgrade to the highest trim level, you wouldn’t be paying much more.

According to Edmunds, the mid-level trim for the 2021 Nissan Sentra, the SV trim, only costs buyers a tad more, with a price tag of around $22,135. If you wanted to upgrade to the highest trim level, the SR, you could expect to see costs just a hair more at $23,930, which is a pretty small margin compared to some other vehicles that can very of $10,000 or more depending on trim level options.

The best new feature for the Nissan Sentra

In the 2021 model year, the Nissan Sentra finally received a feature most people probably didn’t realize it was missing — though there is no doubt it annoyed many 2020 and older model owners. The latest model year finally offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which is now standard on all trim levels.

More features for the SR trim

If the addition of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto doesn’t interest you, there are still a few more new features yet. Only available on the highest SR trim level, buyers can get a Wi-Fi hotspot and remote services/control, which makes the car even more modern and technological than ever before.

Combining these features with the most comfortable and luxurious interior that the Nissan Sentra has ever had, these improvements only work to make the current generation of Nissan Sentra even better.

These new additions to the car might seem small, but in a market where cars and technology are constantly changing and adapting, having these features puts the 2021 Nissan Sentra on a more level playing field with other cars, and even gives it a bit of a competitive edge compared to cares of the same price range.
