Yes, the 2021 Ford F-150 Tremor is worth buying if you seek off-roading upgrades without going for the full-blown Raptor truck. While it can’t jump dunes and fly like the F-150 Raptor, it can still conquer the trails. 

You can get started in the 2021 Tremor for about $49,505, while the F-150 Raptor has an MSRP of $64,145. So, by opting for the Tremor, you can gain off-roading equipment and a unique look while saving about $15,000. 

What comes with the 2021 Ford F-150 Tremor? 

Both the 2021 Ford F-150 Tremor and the Raptor come with the 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engine. In the Tremor is generates 400 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque, but in the Raptor, it pumps out 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque. 

The F-150 Tremor has retuned springs that provide a bit of a life. Monotube dampers on found on the front, and twin-tube dampers are in the rear. I’s suspension travel is increased by 1.5-inches in the rear and 1-inch in the front. 

This is more than the FX4 package has to offer, but the Raptor has an all-new five-link suspension with coil springs, unique front control arms, and 3.1-inch Fox Live Valve internal bypass shocks. 

Both trucks come with a standard electronic locking rear differential and an optional front Torsen limited-slip differential. If you go for the Tremor high-series option, then you get the same torque-on-demand transfer case that the Raptor has. 

The Tremor rids on 18-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in 33-inch General Grabber all-terrain tires. They increase the truck’s track width by one inch per side. The Raptor comes with three different tire options, including bead-lock capable tires.

If you go with the mid-trim for the 2021 Ford F-150 Tremor, you gain heated front seats, trail-driving assist features, a Bang & Olufsen stereo, and an 8.0-inch instrument cluster display that provides crucial off-roading information. 

The top of the line trim comes with a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, leather upholstery, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, power-adjustable steering column, and adjustable pedals. 

Trail Control works like a low-speed cruise control system. It delivers even power while going over includes. The Trail Turn Assist provides enhanced maneuverability by braking an inside wheel for a tighter turn radius. 

You can opt for the Trail One-Pedal Drive feature too. It alleviates the use of the brake pedal, so you only have to worry about accelerating. Taking your foot off the pedal will activate the brakes. A more traditional hill-descent control system is also available. 

The Tremor looks include a vented hood, powder-coated running boards, and a sliver bumper bash plate. The interior features orange trim accents to match the Ranger and Expedition Timberline models.
