The Ford Bronco Sport was set to debut sometime this year. Now everything is up in the air and fans are on the edge of their seats wondering when the new Ford Bronco will finally go into production.

The all-new Ford Bronco concept

This video reveals photos of a Ford Bronco Sport –– spotted in the wild in a camouflaged wrap. But some places beneath the camouflage reveal an exciting and vibrant color. Could it be a metallic cyber orange?

Watch this The Fast Lane Car and Truck video for some pics and more info.

If so, the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport is right on trend with its competitors like the Jeep Wrangler and Toyota 4Runner. These off-road capable SUVs also come in fun bright colors.

The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport

This new Ford is supposed to be a testament to its predecessor the classic Ford Bronco. A brand new generation of this tough SUV is long awaited, and now we have to wait even longer. Even good phots are hard to come by at this point. But some things have been revealed.

The Ford Bronco Sport engine

This rugged new utility vehicle has so far been marketed as an adventurous and capable SUV set to be competitive in its class. Unofficially, it boasts two engine options.

The first option is a 1.5 liter turbo charged 3 cylinder with 150 horsepower. Not base for a base level SUV. But if you want to up the ante a little, there’s a much beefier option.

The other engine option for the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport is a 2 liter turbocharged 4 cylinder engine. This one is a beast that gets up about 250 horsepower. If that power is paired with a capable frame and the proper agility, the Bronco Sport is going to be a a fun off-road adventure vehicle.

The look

It has a boxy frame that’s a little quirky –– exactly what we want from a spunky SUV that enjoys a little rock crawling. The Fast Lane host thinks it looks a little like the Land Rover Freelander or the Discovery model. Not a bad thing by any means.

Bronco Sport trim levels

The Ford Bronco Sport, hopefully debuting some time this year, is said to offer four different trim levels. The First Edition will be an upper level trim with several options. This trim will honor the Ford Bronco Sport first year in production and probably come with a few exterior badges as well as interior details specific to the First Edition trim.

The other three trim levels are will be named after national parks. This adds to the adventure allure of this vehicle. The Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Badlands trims are the names of the other trim level the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport will offer.

Colors

The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport will probably come in a wide array of colors. According to TFL, there will be some pretty exciting ones –– ten to be exact. Unofficially, of course.

The colors sound cool, too. We’ll hopefully see it in production in Alta blue metallic, Area 51, Oxford white, cactus gray, carbonized gray, iconic silver, kodiak brown, rapid red, and metallic or shadow black. Then there’s also that crazy cyber metallic orange as seen in TFL’s photos.

When will we see it unveiled?

While these sneak preview photos are exciting, we are so ready to see the debut of this SUV. It already has people talking and it’s sure to be pretty cool. So far, Ford has kept it under wraps –– literally. We still don’t have an official debut date.
