Taking on competitors such as BMW and Mercedes-Benz, the Buick Enclave is turning heads with premium features and a reasonable sticker price.

Safety also plays a role, with each model earning points for advanced safety features such as blind-spot warning, automatic emergency braking, and forward-collision warning. Results from various crash tests are also a consideration in determining the overall score.

Consumer Reports ranks the top 10 vehicles by highest overall score. Characteristics such as a commanding view of the road, leather interior cabins, and stylish exteriors are common among all the models on this year’s exclusive list.
