Buying a luxury SUV can be exciting, but it can also be expensive. The difference between a standard SUV and a luxury SUV can be tens of thousands of dollars or more, sometimes even ranging into the low-end supercar price range. Each luxury brand has several SUVs to offer, from compact to sporty, and of course full-sized SUVs, but which luxury SUVs are the best?

BMW luxury SUVs

BMW offers everything from sports cars to full-sized SUV, and they are consistently luxurious regardless of which vehicle you pick, including the SUVs. BMW has put their best foot — or rather, tires? — forward to produce SUVs that anyone can like, including SUVs for people who don’t really like SUVs in the first place.

I’ve always been a big fan of just about everything BMW has ever done, and even after the emotional trauma that my two previous BMW 328i left me with I still found myself falling for the unique styling of the X4 and X6, not to mention how aggressive they look and surprisingly good they perform with the M packages. On the lower end of the price scale, I was surprised to see that the

Audi competes for best luxury SUV lineup

Audi and BMW seem to go toe to toe when it comes to creating better, more modern, and more luxurious vehicles, so it’s no surprise that this is the same for their SUVs. Audi has a strong lineup of SUVs that share the iconic Audi grille as well as the Audi performance we’ve come to know and love. When it comes to deciding which SUV is the best in the lineup it really depends on what you are looking for, but even from the entry-level Q2 we are constantly surprised.

The Q2 is the most affordable new luxury SUV Audi has to offer, and while it isn’t there most lavish or performance-oriented model like the RS Q8 it’s still has a lot to offer. The Q2 has all of the Audi touches you love, decked in modern design and high-quality material, and you don’t have to bite off a high price tag to enjoy one.

Luxury SUVs from Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-Benz is another company known for its offerings of high-end luxury, so it’s no surprise that they have a handful of stunning and well-packaged SUVs to offer. There are some great SUVs, but the most modern-looking is the GLE, which ditches the traditional boxy styling of larger SUVs and adopts the smooth, rounded coupe look to look even more aggressive.

Everything about the GLE is modern, from front to back and inside and out, and the car just screams luxury. A smooth suspension and upgraded insulation provides a smooth, quiet ride, and you’ll enjoy driving the car day in and day out. Better yet, you might forget you’re driving a large SUV all together, because this sporty yet practical vehicle drives like a large coupe.

Having an SUV can be practical and offer a lot of space that you don’t get in your average sedan. That doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice anything, because these SUVs are stylish, sporty, and above all luxurious.
