The 2016 Camaro roared from 0 to 60 mph in just over four seconds, according to Consumer Reports. Chevy received plenty of positive feedback regarding the Camaro’s options for engines and transmissions. Giving drivers the opportunity to customize a vehicle is always a plus.

When Consumer Reports tested it on the road, the 2016 Chevy Camaro also earned perfect braking and emergency handling scores. And the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the car good ratings on crash and roll tests.

So it makes sense the 2016 Camaro nabbed an impressive 8.8 score from U.S. News. There’s no arguing it — this car comes with a ton of pros. But at what price?

For well over a decade, U.S. News has been ranking the cream of the crop of vehicles. With the Camaro’s almost perfect score and affordable price, the popular sports car landed in the number one spot on the list. Critics’ Rating, Performance, Interior, Total Cost of Ownership, Safety, and Reliability are the categories U.S. News used to award the Camaro its impressive overall score of 8.8.
