2 Colorado men in a truck throw glass bottles at protestors

Women in Denver, Colorado were minding their own business and walking to a pro-immigration rally when they became targeted by two men in a truck.

They were walking to the Colorado State Capitol when they were assaulted. The Denver Police Department shared that the incident occurred around 3:05 PM.

The men in the truck drove up to the women and started to harass them. They threw glass bottles and other objects at them. Then they yelled ‘white power and ‘Nazi power’ a few times. They flashed the Nazi salute before finally driving away.

One of the women captured the incident on her phone and uploaded a video to TikTok. You can see the blue Ford Super Duty aggressively drive past them and back up to their location.

According to Denver 7, one of the suspects has been identified as 48-year-old David Halverson. The other suspect is a juvenile boy, so his identity hasn’t been released. Both of the suspects were arrested on three counts of attempted bias-motivated crime with bodily injury.

The Denver District Attorney’s Office will make a final determination of the charges. People have the right to peaceful protest. The women didn’t do anything to provoke the attack and could have been seriously injured.
