What criteria does Car and Driver use?
The trucks and SUVs on the 10Best list were selected from trucks, SUVs, and vans priced below $110,000. The C&D staff tested the vehicles, compared notes, and voted individually. The complete list is a result of the averaged scores.
Each winner on the list must lead its respective segment with refinement, practicality, and value. These vehicles do this without sacrificing satisfying performance and entertaining driving dynamics, which is a starting point for every model on the 10Best list.
