According to Jeep, these Jeep Wrangler windshield wipers are high-performance. The wipers use a new, more efficient glass-cleaning system that requires less fluid. It also eliminates those seconds you can’t see due to something on the windshield. Thanks to the new Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) team at Mopar, off-roading mishaps won’t leave drivers blind in the middle of the fun. Jeep says the Gladiator will also be compatible with these new windshield wipers.

The most important part of the new JPP wipers is the 12 laser-cut holes that run the length of the blase. These create “wet jets that release washer fluid along the entire length,” Jeep says. The wet jets flood the dirty glass as the blade moves on the arc, which helps remove dirt and debris on the first swipe.

Long gone are the days of waiting for your Jeep Wrangler SUV windshield to wipe clean! Or having to clean it yourself manually!

The Gladiator and the Jeep Wrangler will have the standard spray nozzles disabled

The Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator SUVs will have the traditional wiper blades disabled so the new Mopar wipers can do the work. Since the fluid is more concentrated in the right area, it will still use less wiper fluid overall. It also cleans as it moves, meaning less “blind” time on the trails or roads.

“Our new, innovative JPP performance wiper blades quickly restore visibility while tackling the toughest trails by keeping the washer fluid where it belongs – on the glass.”

Mark Bosanac | North America senior vice president, Mopar service, parts and customer care

These wipers aren’t just for off-roading either. A sudden rainstorm or dust cloud is no match for the Mopar blades. Bosanac says, “our new ultra-capable wiper blades are just one of the more than 500 quality-tested, factory-backed parts, and accessories in our Jeep portfolio.”

You can buy these directly from the Mopar site

If you want a set for your Jeep Wrangler or Gladiator, the JPP performance wiper kit is already available in the U.S. and Canada. Mopar part number PW100013AB goes for $140 and can be purchased from Mopar directly. These Jeep Wrangler windshield wipers will fit many models from 2018 through 2022. The 2020 Gladiator through the 2022 versions is also compatible.

The kit comes complete with arms, blades, and tubing required for installation. It also comes with a set of replacement blades for the future. Not a bad deal. You might see these Jeep Wrangler windshield wipers out in the wild sometime soon, so take note if you do! While these wipers might not be designed for uneventful summer road trips, that doesn’t mean you can’t take them along for the ride.
