The 2023 Audi e-tron SUV has a starting price between $70,800 and $86,400, depending on the trim. The all-electric engine utilizes a one-speed direct drive transmission and quattro® all-wheel drive for impressive electric performance. The EPA-estimated combined range is up to 226 miles with 78 MPGe. The four-door Audi e-tron SUV delivers 402 hp and 490 lb-ft of torque with boost engaged, hitting 0 to 50 mph in 5.5 seconds.

According to Edmunds, the 2023 Audi e-tron “has a premium look and feel that other EVs struggle to match.”

2. BMW iX

The 2023 BMW iX M60 is the most popular model in the BMW electric lineup, carrying a starting price of $108,900. The all-wheel drive powertrain features two electric motors capable of producing an impressive 610 hp with 811 lb-ft of torque. The luxury SUV has an EPA-estimated range of 288 miles with a combined fuel economy of 77 MPGe. The 2023 BMW iX xDrive 50 has a starting price of $84,195 and offers an EPA-estimated combined fuel economy of 87 MPGe with a 324-mile range.

The BMW xDrive is an advanced all-wheel drive system that is standard in both electric SUV models. According to the automaker, it “delivers enhanced traction,” with “exactly the right amount of torque to the front and rear wheels in all driving situations.”

3. Genesis GV60

The 2023 Genesis GV60 has a starting MSRP of $68,290, offering an EPA-estimated combined fuel economy of 90 MPGe with a range of 235 miles. The all-electric engine delivers 429 hp and 446 lb-ft of torque.

4. Jaguar I-Pace

The all-electric 2023 Jaguar I-Pace SUV provides seamlessly integrated technology in a comfortable interior cabin. With an abundance of driver assistance features and superior weight distribution, the all-wheel drive electric SUV offers sports car agility with 394 hp and 512 lb-ft of torque. The I-Pace has an EPA-estimated range of up to 246 miles with a combined 72 MPGe. The starting MSRP is $71,300.

The 2023 Lexus RZ 450e is the first electric vehicle the luxury automaker is offering in the United States. The first generation RZ is a small crossover carrying a starting price of $55,000. Powered by a 71.4-kWh battery pack, each axle has an electric motor, with the front generating 201 hp and the rear 107 hp. The EPA-estimated range is 225 miles on a full charge. Lexus anticipates delivery of a larger electric three-row SUV in 2025.

6. Rivian R1S

The 2023 Rivian R1S is one of the few electric SUVs on the market today that offer three rows of seating. A 135.0-kWh battery pack enables the R1S to go 316 miles on a full charge. With a base price of $79,075 and an EPA-estimate combined fuel economy of 65 MPGe, Car and Driver says, “The R1S is a three-row EV SUV with legit off-road capability, which means the whole family can come along for a carbon-free romp through the woods.”

7. Tesla Model Y

The 2023 Tesla Model Y is available in Long Range and Performance trims. Both models have an electric motor on each axle, providing all-wheel drive capabilities. The starting base price is $67,440, offering an EPA-estimate range of 330 miles and 117 MPGe.

8. Tesla Model X

The 2023 Tesla Model X SUV has an MSRP of $122,440 and is available in two trim levels, the tri-motor Plaid and the standard dual-motor model. Both electric vehicles offer 300+ miles of range with an EPA-estimated combined fuel economy of 97 MPGe.

9.  Volvo XC40 Recharge

It has an EPA-estimated range of 226 miles and a combined fuel economy of 80 MPGe. Car and Driver claim the swoopy shape may appeal to drivers, saying the electric SUV “is more efficient than its squarer counterpart,” the Volvo XC40 Recharge.
