The 2023 Ram 1500 stands above the rest

The Ram 1500 is constantly praised for having a stand-out interior and plenty of technology. But this truck isn’t all show. J.D. Power points out that the Ram 1500 has a great reputation and that reputation is earned by getting the job done.

The 1500 is by far the most popular truck in Ram’s lineup. If you combine total sales of Ram’s entire heavy-duty lineup, the 1500 still has more sales. Of course, much of that can be attributed to the popularity of full-size trucks in general, but it is still worth noting.

Let’s dig a little deeper to figure out some areas where this truck excels.

The 2023 Ram 1500 has good reliability ratings

Compared to other rival pickup trucks, the 2023 Ram 1500 is more reliable. For example, a glance at consumer reviews on Edmunds shows that 60% of review for the Ram 1500 are five-stars. Compare this to the Chevy Silverado, where only 49% of review of five-stars. Other trucks in Ram’s lineup like the 2500 earned five-star ratings 47% of the time.
