The Kia EV6 is currently on sale, and it appears to be an easier buy than its corporate cousin, the Hyundai Ioniq 5. That said, this is not necessarily a cheap vehicle, it has a starting cost of above $40,000 for the base trim. But buyers can benefit from federal tax rebates will help to reduce the cost of buying the new EV6.

When it comes to deciding which EV6 to buy, the Wind trim does come well-equipped. It can be outfitted with all-wheel drive and it generates 320 horsepower. When equipped with AWD, the Wind model does cost $50,900. And that is $10,000 over the most basic trim level. But, it does come standard with the onboard power generator as well as a premium audio system, which some buyers are likely to enjoy.

Unfortunately, the EV6 is available in limited numbers. So, finding the proper vehicle may feel like a difficult task. Some buyers have reported needing to go out of state in order to buy one. Hopefully, as the auto market returns to normal, we see more 2022 Kia EV6 models featured at dealerships. That way, more shoppers can get an EV crossover with an onboard power generator.
